I was a student pilot decades ago, although I never got my private pilot's license, mainly due to lack of $$$.

I soloed in a Piper Tomahawk in 1979. The Tomahawk is _nothing to write home about, _ but the VISIBILITY from it -- at least for me the student pilot -- was excellent. I also did some training in a Cessna 150, mainly for spins. {Spins are prohibited in the Tomahawk.} I did not care that much for the limited visibility of the 150.

Sometime between 1980 and 1995, I cannot remember the exact year, I got to sit in a Zenith 701 at SUN 'N' FUN in Lakeland, Florida. I was IMMEDIATELY IMPRESSED at how much the OVERHEAD VISIBILITY the 701 has, due to the angle of the wing roots.

9:03 a truth bomb about glass panels right there: "I'm not gonna bother turning it on, because it's so bright here".

Look awesome! The 701 in msfs I own is one of my favorites!

An interesting and very neat design. Certainly like the field of visibility though at first sight the glass cockpit arangement is a bit disconcerting. Being used to the Kodiak I could imagine you could take to a tricycle gear plane like that Ryan - I wonder what version of the control stick layout and instrumentation you'd go for? Thanks for the look around.

Best bang for the buck on the market.
I have had two 750’s and currently have a 701 with 100hp rotax. These things are a blast to fly. Slow as molasses but fun.
I’m 6’1” 230# and full of fuel and 30ft I’m off the ground.
Landing a zenith is tricky if your a Cessna pilot your gonna smack the ground until u learn to land with a shot of power but once on the ground at 30mph you can stop it in 30 ft.

I seen that at Sun n Fun did not get a chance to ask questions so thanks for covering it, I have been looking at the 750, kitfox (yours) and super stol, I am going to be buying one of them soon. Would like to fly in a 750 before I make that decision but I am sure any of these would be great anyway.

Thanks for that. Very interesting airplane. Will have to look at performance specs. Happy flying.

Cool little plane! I'm sure they are a lot of fun. Thanks for the video. 🙏

I want one too, but it's unrealistic for me to have money even for pilot license. I would live in that plane :D

FWIW: Even before watching the very beginning of this video, I _guessed_ this was some version of the Zenith 701-type aircraft.

This I can imagine owning! Three seater heavy duty with GI275s and a GFC 500 😏

Are the kits assembled and flown, then broken down before shipping ? If not, why not ?

How is the nose wheel durability ? Do you have to be careful with nose wheel landing issues ?

Really like left seat flying, stick RH, throttle in left hand…..as it should be.

Nice show, when are you going back to Bush flying?

I think I would mount a camera in front of the front wheel, tied into the panel or 2ndary monitor....

Never flew a bush A/C but why not a 3 bladed prop for tricycle LG bush aircraft? More clearance.
