Republican rivals Governor Ron DeSantis and former President Donald Trump hold dueling events just 40 miles apart in New Hampshire.   The move creates tension among Republican women hosting a luncheon and highlights DeSantis' efforts to close the poll gap. NBC News' Vaughn Hillyard joins Morning Joe to discuss.

Meaning in short:
"Just forget that Trump and several key members of my party attempted insurrection and treason just so Trump can stay in power. Just forget that the Capitol was viciously attacked and thrashed, just forget that five people died that day. Let's just concentrate on ME becoming President, why don't we?"

I wouldn't be shocked to find out DeSantis scheduled his event around the same time, thinking Trump's supporters can't show up and harass him at his own event, like they have with a few of his book signings, if they're attending Trump's rally.
