Hairy woodpecker bird foraging #shorts

Hairy woodpecker is a bird species found in forests throughout much of North America. In this video, this bird is "scaling" which is a foraging behaviour where bark is removed to uncover prey underneath. I saw this bird while birding in Calgary.
