Hey, that’s my bike and I adore it. It is really comfortable, has shaft, big tank, almost 90 nm, so - ideal for long b-road trips through country. Which is exactly what I want from a motorcycle.

This bike is a rare gem, had lots of bikes from sports to touring, sold one of these and regretted it unlike any other, great and underrated bike .

I've just bought one of these for getting to work and back. Super easy to ride, comfortable, slick gearbox, very simple and low maintenance. Fast enough to have a bit of fun without the fear of out-riding yourself. Ticks a lot of boxes for me right now.

Had one and great when you just want to go for a comfortable long ride rather than blasting through twisties on my zxr750. Wish I still had it in garage.

okey i bought one last year, and im verry happy with it, looks great, the ride is great when i see my friends working there ass of in corners with the harleys and intruders and so one got a big smile every time again i ride id. not fast hmmm 190km/u without windscreen is fast enough believe me, but it is not a racing machine. its a roadstar easy rider

Отличный мот, для спокойных людей, типа меня =) Купил такой, думал что не на долго. Но кажется, что я не скоро с ним расстанусь. Отличный звук и динамика. Управляемость, как будто половину работы он делает за тебя сам! Торможение отменное, как никак тормоза от R1. Тяжеловат, но вес не чувствуется.

Yamaha come up with oddballs like this quite regularly, like the MT01 with its Warrior 1700 engine or worst handling muscle bike bike ever, the 1200 V-Max (reputation restored later with the awesome 1700 V-Max). The Bulldog has a Virago 1100 engine and transmission as you say, put in what could be a good handling frame which stops well due to its R1 derived front brakes but it has a fatal and dangerous flaw. If you lean it over too much on a right hand bend the exhaust downpipe grounds out and picks the front wheel up, a crash is almost certainly guaranteed particularly if you are inexperienced. Having said that I crashed mine so deserve any flack I get! If ridden like a cruiser it really is a pleasant bike, I still ride mine if in the mood and know I cannot rush even if I wanted too, so a relaxing ride with a great soundtrack. As always an excellent road test thanks.

I'd prefer that white gixxer as you were pulling in the shop. :) But, I do like the tank size on the Yammy... it looks like a reliable bike.
