As a football player, to take this banana/free kick, I have a few tips for you:
1. Lift your foot higher to get more kicking force
2. Make sure to kick the ball and follow through( basically after you hit your ball you shouldn’t stop moving your leg) in the shape of an arc crossing over the other leg.
3. When striking the ball, make sure your non kicking foot lands parallel to your ball.
4. Run at the ball at an angle of 45 degrees to get your achieved target

Key point in doing this- lean to the opposite side of where you want the outermost point of the arc to be. This will naturally cause your leg to move it such a way that helps naturally drag your foot across the ball in the perfect way to curve it, as your foot hooks back towards where your centre of gravity should be to stabilize your body.
