Groove Extract drag and drop is epic. You can drag a midi data in there and create a beat by dragging it back into the timeline, plus other stuff

Hi, any word on any form of software update to be released this year for Studio One? So strange to have gone nearly 9 months without a 0.1 update considering there were 4 such updates in the same time period last year. It would to get clarification from Presonus on what's going on.

I too have recently discovered the combine instruments function. It's like creating a Voltron synth.

Is there a way for studio one to not open the plugin window when coping or moving using drag and drop?

Hey Joe. Love all your videos. I'm learn something and thoroughly entertained every time! Thanks for the Drag/Drop tips. One (unrelated) question. How are you horizontally scrolling the mix window so quickly? Do you have a special mouse or is there a keyboard/scroll wheel combination I'm not aware of?

Please help! Love your videos they have helped me a ton!! Something that is very annoying is when I have my eight drum tracks grouped together and I want to put a Reverb on the send for the snare it puts reverbs on all eight sends tracks …very annoying is there a way to turn that off without ungrouping the tracks? Thanks!

Joe, I had no idea it would place two instruments on the same track like that. I am not well versed at using the splitter tool. I guess I should learn more. Thx for this

I see Studio One losing a lot of users being owned by Fender.

Hey Joe, thanks, nice video, some stuff I didn't know. One question, could you tell me which mouse you're using? It alwyas seems so smooth. My mouse always moves too fast for zooming and scrolling in Studio One. Thanks!

Hey Joe, how are you buddy?
Listen I'd really love to use the combine option a lot more if only there were a way to combine the audio of all instances of each instrument combined into one audio file when I go to select "Transfer instrument to audio".
Is that possible at all is there something I'm missing?
Or is this a feature I need to ask PreSonus to add to a future version of Studio One?

hey there Joe, I just updated to the newest version of studio one a few weeks ago, and some things now have gone tits up for want of a better almost wish I stayed on the previous version, too late but the question is, now on one of my tracks by the vol slider I sudden have a small thin yellow line which goes from the max 0.0 balanced at the top of it, and it pulsates down toward the min vol of the what on earth does that mean. and why all of a sudden when it never did it sorry for asking I guess I am dumb, back to reading the massive vol book of instructions that I can never I just like making music, not so much the engineering for me if it sounds good it is good, sod all the twiddling

Best tip I’ve found is to drag Studio One into the trash and then drag back in your trusty stable professional ProTools or alt command Ableton into its place. Super handy. 😂😂

Hey there Joe again, here's one for you, in the previous version 4.- I wrote a tune, I played all the parts, now in the new version I can still hear the music but there is no longer any graphical display of the why is that? what am I doing wrong or what is wrong with version 5.- I have played around with studio one from the beginning or near all for my own fun really, a hobby, I am old been playing music one way or another since I was a little I just wish things would just work, but some things digitally don't where analog would, everyone treats the digital age as a life but only me it seems, I have lost more stuff through digital data than any other medium, it's a killer, even iron ferrite tape last longer as long as you never went near a magnet. hahahahahaha

Off topic but ...Is there a way to strum midi in sample one? I always try to do it but it always plays it one note at a time instead of together like a chord ... it play chords if they play all at once but not if they are strummed...anything I'm doing wrong?

Please explain to me why Studio One for inserts uses option/alt + drag when you only want to drag to another slot whereas simple drag gives you a copy. When you work with events it is the opposite combination. It is an inconsistant approach. Actually all other DAW's I know of just moves things with simple drag and uses command/ctrl + drag for copies. Why deviate from the general norm?

Hi! Why when I try to find let’s say Kick in Files menu bar, in results s1 show me just a part of files from my external SSD? In the tree of files all folders and files shows correctly.
