Kobe’s death is the first time I ever cried for a celebrity’s death

Can’t believe I’m still tearing up over a guy I’ve never met smh

Lost Bean and my dad in the same year. Dad’s the one who gave me my name after Mr. Bryant. My favourite guys ever.
Rest easy Kobe & GiGi and all the others who passed away 😓🕊.

I don't care what anyone says. In my book, Kobe is the greatest of all time. I grew up watching him and I will tell my kids and my grandkids what an inspiration he was to me and how I approached life. Thank you, Mamba. Miss you.

I just don’t understand why I’m still so broken inside from this, I not a family member of his or a close friend. But Kobe was and is my childhood idol someone I look up to, all those memories I have of me and my brothers going crazy watching him play he will always be a part of us 🙏🏼😔😔🖤💜🖤💜

Kobe was more than an idol for me, he was everything I aspire to be.

Smart, curious, hard worker, brilliant.

I miss you dearly Kobe ❤️

Kobe's death is probably one of the most traumatic deaths I've encountered in my life. Last year was all tears around this time, but I'm going to stick it out strong and continue to live the mamba mentality day in and day out. To all Kobe fans - if you truly respect the Mamba go out there and be the best you!

The only celebrity death that actually hurt me and changed the way I feel about life

He was going to learn German and Mandarine too. That’s hella impressive to go along with Spanish, Italian and already knowing English.

Very well spoken and heartfelt, Stephen A. It still hurts to think about him being gone so soon. 😔

Thank you so much Stephen A for giving him his flowers while he was still here. I always think back of that interview you had with him in 2006 on Quite Frankly and how much respect you gave him and had him open up about his tough times, made him seem more human. I'll never forget that.
