What people don’t realize is that there’s actually people who are allowed to cary guns in plain clothes so police aren’t just gonna immediately assume you’re a criminal who dropped his or her gun. For all they know you could be a plainclothes police officer, or given special permission by the government to carry one, even in countries with strict gun laws. Here in the US most States allow open carry. I used to carry my nine on me sometimes and when I first got it the my gun accidentally fell out of my holster in the middle of the sidewalk and no one even batted an eye. In countries where they don’t allow open or canceled carry for civilians the most they would probably do is ask to see a permit and ID
