Ambient occlusion setting in this game is super taxing on any gpu, turning it lower yields way more fps for very little visual difference

Surprising that even a card like this has a hard time to get 100 FPS. I guess 8K would have like 50 to 40 FPS. 8K gaming might not be possible even now! :(

it has this kind of detailed but dated look, like you can see every little crack and stuff but you can also clearly see that it is a game.

I was wanting to upgrade my cpu from a 5900x to a 13900k but after seeing this I don't think I need to! I get the same or better fps with my 4090 in 4k, I've gotten 120+ in some maps :)

customs is like the best optimized map, you should try something more challenging like interchanges or lighthouse

I'm a huge stalker player been playing stalker ironman master for years. I see Tarkov is more tactical however I cant seem to get into it due to the to me dull looking environments and graphics looking way too clean the shooting looks cool and customization looks insane. Good shooting.

I get 120 fps solid on reserve, customs, factory(obviously) shoreline, lighthouse maybe 100. Labs is maybe 120 depending on ai amount and then 50fps on streets… I have a ryzen 9 5900x and 3080

As an IT expert and owner on a 4090 for my gaming rig too, i see you undervolted your card. 2700mhz seems like 950mV? With 55c around, that should match.
I'm playing dlss quality and i'm holding 138fps with reflex on+boost (144hz) on all maps with the same undervolt.

this video shows how the optimization of tarkov is in the gutter. i have the same fps on 1060-3gb and 5600x (waiting for new radeon 7600 xt)

I wish benchmark videos used settings the average player would use because no one who actually plays tarkov plays with these settings

Ambient occlusion takes way too many fps, also, please test on a sunny map (you can set it to sunny in offline settings), cloudy weater doesn't showcase the graphics
