As someone who has had his stomach punctured with stomach acid going into my abdominal cavity. That is one of the worst pains you can experience literally. A true 9 ( + ) out of 10 on the pain scale. Excruciating is an understatement

A perfect example of the importance of proper firearm handling from what he told. Hair triggers are no joke, and from the way he described it, the guy holding the gun was careless and pointing it everywhere and at everyone.

I feel so bad for the guy with the bullet wound. But who goes to the beach right after surgery?! There's a reason why any serious abdominal surgery has a rest period of 6 weeks. Stay home and rest in bed! Moving around too much post surgery is what causes most post-surgical complications.

Just a tip for you guys (as a first responder at St John NSW):
From personal experience, if a patient needs more than methoxy and there isn't a HCP or Paramedic on staff, we get them to cover up the vent on the top of the whistle when inhaling, as that increases the concentration. Also, make sure you aren't giving more than two doses of Penthrane as it increases the likelihood of liver issues (espescially in alcoholics). Hope this helps - you're all legends, and you do amazing work! Cheers from Penrith!
