Thanks for another awesome video Paul. The house you stayed in for the evening looked really cool.

Awesome way of explaining your route, never seen that in any of the other motorcycle trip diaries.

Melanes camp is pretty nice with warm showers. You can walk to the big white sandy beach. I had a lot of flies last year which was annoying. Further to the North there should be a new tunnel finished that prevents you from driving on muddy tracks. The campsite in Isafjördur is pretty nice, a bit outside the city but near to a supermarket and petrol station. It has it's own small river crossing the site and comes from a waterfall nearby. Approching Isafjördur (the city with 3D zebra crossing) from the south is through a single lane tunnel. The old harbour area is pretty nice, too. Enjoy your time and greetings from Germany, Bernd

Good stuff. If you're still around there head to Latrabjarg - cliffs with *tons* of puffins. It's near where you are in the fjords. I was there a few years ago and it's outstanding.

The weather sounds like the saying about Scotland: If you don`t like the weather - wait for 5 minutes…

Hi Paul. A little question. How can you deal with a dirt helmet instead a dual sport helmet?. It's confortable in case of rain? A goretex balaclava perhaps it's a good solution? Because, seriously, i hate the ful face helmets, i'm feeling constrained; but, i don't know how i can deal with a dirt helmet with rain, snow and wind in a long travel. Thanks in advance and regards from Spain.

Is the extended daylight pushing you into longer days than you’d normally do? The distances don’t seem too high, but if you’re doing nine water crossings your kms/hour will drop significantly.

How does the significantly higher living expenses impact the “slow travel” principles?
