I was just out of High School when this movie came out, and the first two Michael Keaton movies were my favorites. The Animated series was just entering the Batman And Robin portion of the series, and Val Kilmer being announced as Batman/Bruce Wayne was phenomenal casting just hot off the heels of his interpretation for the AGES successful run as Doc Holliday in Tombstone! I was sad that Keaton and Tim Burton were out, but the news of all the replacements were exciting, and the fact that after two movies of fiddle-farting about Robin, we were finally getting one and when I saw the image of him in a tv advertisement for the movie, standing on top of that Riddler Island tower with the windy atmosphere, I got excited that some bit of the Tim Burton look stayed on. The character of the movie was sadly goofier and cheekier, but I remember the entire crowd coming out of the theater alot more satisfied than the crowd coming out of Batman Returns, when I went with my dad and sister to see it. Daniel Waters' recounting of his experience seeing audiences coming out of his showing "as if they were punched in the stomach", was totally accurate. I seemed to feel the direct opposite for my take on the movie. I actually read the Batman comics ranging from the old 70's Dennis O'Neil and Neil Adams issues all the way through The Dark Knight Returns and The Killing Joke comic releases just before Batman 1989 came out, and felt Tim Burton captured that nightmarish feel perfectly for me. 🤷‍♂️

Oh cool, you're a year younger than me. I liked Batman Forever a lot when it came out too.

His panther suit was the exact same as Clooney's, given the mask is different but a head swap might make a decent stand in

I love the idea of measuring figures with food items. Can you do that in EVERY video now so I can get a nice laugh?

I never liked Chris as Robin. But I like the BF Robin more than B&R. However the face of the B&R is better. The cape and Suit of the BF Robin is better. (IMO) Great video... Bat Toast

Nipples, codpiece, up close butt shots, sexual innuendos never crossed my mind as a kid how ridiculous all of that was in a Batman movie but now it's absolutely hysterical to me.
Nice figure though. I do like it more than the Kilmer in this wave.

I don’t think he really used any accessories in the movie accept the ropes to climb and go down as well.

I like the two colored wires cape and the traditional colors muted of the costume.

Why did they make him shorter than the Batman and Robin Robin🤔 They should be the same height.
