I'm also very happy you guys added redwood trees, they have helped me get my base up really fast

a bunch of things: Logging is a slog. It would be interesting if cutting down a redwood (89 wacks with an iron axe) earned more SP XP than a normal birch, or a sapling. not sure what data you could key off to determine that. but it's a HUGE accomplishment to cut one of those down.

I'd say the same goes for stumpage. *(another +89 wacks for a redwood stump) If you don't touch the felled tree and remove the stump, you have a good chance of getting an instant sapling grow back in it's place. but if you even accidentally chop at the timber or debris, the sapling never appears. (maybe that's a bug?)

it would also be nice to shift+RMB or something to "gather" logs.. ie instead of picking them, just convert them into the little stacks of 4-5 logs. I tend to lose a lot of logs in the underbrush. It would work for stone too.

to compare against hewing, you can level 7 in no time by starting a large boards order. but logging.. you need to cut down like.. 1000 trees or something to lvl 7. yes, you get 0.01% for debris but I notice you get more debris with logging than without. inventory fills up so fast that leveling by debris clearing is untenable.

14:55 There is a mod where we could both produce fewer "BIG" rocks and pick up multiple rocks at once. I invested heavilly in both specialties and it greatly improved my outlook. Is there a way to improve BOTH of these with levels instead of just with talents?
Both of you mention in the video how ANNOYING big rocks are and how NICE it is to pick up a bunch of rocks at once. Is that something we can earn in your game?

Can’t wait to get my server up for online for everyone. This game is highly under rated there is so much to this game that makes it amazing still a work in progress with some bugs but this game if we all keep playing and working this could be a huge game ! Can’t wait tho to see how it unfolds more ! Been playing since it was off your guys website!

Really nice work there.

I like you to add a charcoal skill early on.
So when there are no/few roads you can craft charcoal somewhere in the nowhere (alot trees but no roads) and transport it in your backpack to the city and sell it there.
It has been the same way in history. Mankind was using charcoal all the time and than when railroads coming up it changed to fossil coal because it than had a way of transporting it.

More Materials for building. Maybe some wallpaper for the concrete walls or colours

A neat way to make a profession worth sticking to would be to add perks or talents that you unlock by leveling up more specilizations. Like, you'd further increase the speed and efficiency of all carpenter specilizations by mastering all of them, which could be an incremental thing, and perhaps adding talents that you could choose that would effect all carpentry specilizations. That would make the final cooking specilization and papermaking worth something and would make professions and mastering one completely really worth while. :)

I have a proposed idea for specialties that become less useful later in the game such as stone working and hewing. You can make higher tier recipes to use things like epoxy, late game raw materials needed. Example, to make a granite counter or table we need granite and epoxy so you keep stoneworking for late game. Another example is a late game redwood bookshelf which requires a planer and epoxy. So now the early game skills can still be relevant in late game.

Is there a way to refund a specialty such as refund Hunter or any specialty and get half of a star or something

The hitboxes of the ceiba tree stumps are still there after being chopped.

The water physics should be improved, they are really buggy.

The walking physics should be improved as well. I'm a bit annoyed of always getting stuck in all those bushes.

Hey guys i really had Fun with the Game until I started hunting Rabbits and Wolves to get the Tailoring skill. For 3 hours, the total of Hare i’ve hunted is ZERO. I SHIT YOU NOT. Why do they render in a couple of Voxels from me? If the strategy to kill them is to shoot em in the distance, well how does that work if i don’t even see them in the distance if they’re not rendered. They also hide in gorgeous, TOWERING Grass. So i found a way around this, that’s by hunting them on the desert. But they don’t spawn there a lot. And there’s still the Render in and Out problem. How about incorporate a Tracking Mechanic? Or set traps? The game is asking me for Fur pelt and the only way to get them is to kill Hares, Wolves, and otter i think. Please pls pls pls PLEAAAASE do something about this. In the meantime, i’ll go chase some other specialization.

One question not related to the patch: Do you have any plans to make copper and gold more usefull? Because like 90% of the smelting is Iron and 10% is Copper and Gold. When mining you always hope that you do NOT find copper and/or gold, because they are almost useless. On the last server I had played I used copper ore and iron ore to be able to mine one layer more Stone and replace this layer with copper/gold ore and still get the height I wanted. Thats a bit strange i guess ;)

Maybe after you max out a specialty, there is another level above it where it is "mastered" and is really hard to get, but once obtained you can quit the specialty while still maintaining some things like talents or efficiency.

Can we get like a 10 min summary of the main points of the topic? There's a lot of wasted time here and not everyone can watch hour long videos when they just want to know what the changes will be.

Regarding to Mailbox-Letter System: You could also craft cartonage from paper, used for sending items through mail packages.
