The coolant temp comes when you use the widescreen view on the car info page. You’ll get the Speedo and rev counter on the sides and it will show up in the middle along with the selected display of the clock, consumption etc

This is a really good and very useful video, thanks. This is my take to help future A3 purchasers - I bought a Sportback S-line, 1.5 TFSI, S-tronic in October 20 with the following additions, Comfort and Sound Pack, Ambient Lighting Pack, Lane Change Assistant (no longer available on S-Line), rear bolster airbags (as I take my elderly parents in the back).

This is my feedback about the options. I agree with Auzzam, think the standard S-line wheels don't look quite as good as the £145 diamond-cut option but didn't upgrade mine as I'm told diamond cut wheels are much more expensive/difficult to repair. The S-Line Sports suspension which is the default on S-line models isn't too firm as some tests suggest and is fine - no need to de-specify in my view. To me, the smaller 10.5 inch Virtual Cockpit (VC) is fine especially as the temperature gauge is more obvious than in the VC Plus and the navigation data is repeated on the central MMI screen if you need the detail.

I am not very impressed by the B&O sound system, I think mainly because the subwoofer is in the front dash rather than the boot so is smaller and causes more resonance - the sound is adequate but not outstanding. I miss the Storage Pack I had on my last A3 - particularly the seat back nets although they did stretch plus there are no 12V sockets in the rear/boot.

The problem with the Lane Change Assistant is that it does warn you of cars approaching behind in other lanes but only when the distance is quite short eg. the warning light in the mirror might not have illuminated but the approaching car is too close to pull out. I can't see a way to alter the setting. Park Assist is an underused novelty in my view.

Finally, the Audi online system which is crucial to the MMI functionality needs refining, my car has had a modem control unit replaced as it couldn't log me on etc. but am suspicious that there was a network problem. The Audi phone app works okay but the main website thinks I'm in Ontario, Canada although my Audi dealer is in Sussex UK! Overall though the car is nice and taut to drive, quite quick with good handling and I do like it despite its idiosyncrasies!

Best video so far. Very informative. I've now got an estimated delivery date of 30th June for my 35 tfsi tronic in daytona grey. Tht's from an 8th March order date. I've added flat bottom steering wheel, ambient lighting and alloys and happy with that other than perhaps the pan roof which does look good. Every one has different priorities, its a tricky choice. Your video will help a lot for those about to order.

Hi decided not to go for “new build” and purchased Sept 2020 DEMO 35 tfsi sline sportback . Equipment fitted standard alloys which I’m more than happy with, electric lumbar support, alloy pedals, matrix headlights, interior lighting, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise assist, flat bottom steering wheel. Also got the full three year warranty and roadside assistance and three years Audi connect price paid £26.000. BUT the ignition stop/start button was on the LEFT hand side so there was obviously a quality control issue when the car was being built, however that is going to be rectified in a couple of days under warranty by the dealer, as usual very informative video keep up the good work looking forward to more posts.
