What’s New in HyperLynx 2409: Advanced Solvers / Hybrid Solver

The latest HyperLynx release brings significant performance improvements to the HyperLynx Hybrid Solver, which is optimized for analyzing large planar structures like PCBs. This solver, integrated with HyperLynx SI/PI, supports comprehensive power integrity analysis and power-aware simulations. In a demonstrated case, an AC decoupling power integrity simulation of a Power Distribution Network (PDN) showed a 40% faster solve time, dropping from 48.5 minutes in previous versions to just 28.7 minutes. Additionally, peak memory usage has been reduced from 28 GB to 16 GB, enhancing efficiency without compromising accuracy. These advancements enable users to conduct faster and more memory-efficient PDN and signal power-aware simulations.
