Saw this and wanted to try the surface method. I bought the Korda inline float, asked the AD member of staff to suggest some hookbaits, he suggested some ooozing wafter type, worked a treat.

A problem is at one of our venues some anglers were using 3lbs TC rods for surface fishing and striking hard thereby ripping the mouths of the carp. So surface fishing got banned. Why can't people use common sense?
