Its disgusting what usps is doing to rural carriors. The union is at usps. With inflation what bs is this? Some are asked to use personal vehicles for $20 an hr or less. They should offer career jobs off the bat like most normal jobs. But shipping costs are lower right???

Yup 45, 000+ rural carriers, rcas, and arcs affected. No one in my office is getting paid! Your office has to offer a pay advance that will be about 65% of your gross pay. You have to pay it back once the next check comes in as that should have the full amount of both checks on it. Really upset about it, this is why my bf (rural regular) and I (rca) are glad we saved up an emergency fund just in case. Also congrats, you’re nearly there!

The post office still operates from the Stone Age.. I’m from Long Island We have such a large turnover, , nobody wants the job. No holiday pay, put people on stand by without pay, 1% raise, Health benefits keep going up, Hostile environment. I’m 34 years in. The job was better in the 80’s.

I’m the highest PTF as well I’m still waiting to become regular it’s been months now and also my own route as well. I heard the carrier is going to retire soon so hopefully route for bid though there’s lots of vacant routes out there.

54k across the country didn't get paid properly. The usps will give out money orders today at 65% of your gross pay which is the avg deductions. The pay won't be fixed till next check.

was told if I take the 65% money order I would pay taxes twice on it so if you can wait it out for the adjustment may be best to do so, this incident makes the usps look incompetent and after 11 straight days my overtime wasn't added in, if this doesn't get made right I am full on with the rca at 25311, lets get this money!! I feel this was a hack attempt on the billing of usps personally, , ,
