A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms - What To Expect | HBO

After the Season 2 finale of House of the Dragon, Max surprised fans with a teaser trailer for HBO's new Game of Thrones spin-off series, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. The teaser is very short, just seven seconds long, but it does give a glimpse of the main character, the Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and his squire. Even though it's exciting, the teaser doesn’t really reveal much about the story, aside from a quick look at some of the main characters.

Heavy spoilers ahead so brace yourselves.

George R.R. Martin has confirmed that HBO is working on several spin-offs right now. These include Aegon's Conquest, which will follow Aegon the first Targaryen's takeover of Westross, and The Sea Snake, which is rumored to be an animated series about a young Corlys Velaryon and his famous Nine Voyages. However, the upcoming series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms might already be familiar to some fans of Game of Thrones.

The tale of dunk and egg are about 300 pages and there is only one book released yet. In that book there are three short stories. I don’t see how they have enough story to make a long serie out of this. But we have to milk as much cash as we can! In the book there is only One rebellion.

I truly love the Novellas and have read them 3 or 4 times..But what worries me is the fact they're not finished .We got 3 books completed but George wants to do 12....and i can see the show overtaking the books and we all know what happened last time we ran out of source material..Let hope this wont happen again

I haven't read these. It doesn't *feel* like ASOIAF, and feels that it's been made more "PG-13" than the other series.

To be honest, I don't understand why you're canceling the snow series, which would have made sense because of his messed up ending in GOT, a clever conclusion with perhaps a great story. But then goes and makes a film of perhaps the most uninteresting story from the entire GOT universe. Prehistory after prehistory instead of simply giving us a good conclusion to John's story. I'm curious to see what they made of the Heckenritter, excitement and fun or just traipsing around and chatting again.
