Israel has vaccinated nearly a third of its nine million population, and says it’s on track to have the whole country protected from COVID-19 by March. But the vaccination program, which is called Operation Back to Life by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government, has largely left out the five million Palestinians under Israel’s control.

Nobody really benefits from leaving populations unvaccinated, every time someone is infected it increases the risks of dangerous mutations.

Israel has not impeded Palestinians from getting vaccines. The Palestinian Authority said they had vaccine to covers 70% of the Palestinian population. When their roll out was slower then the israelis, the Israelis asked if they wanted Israel's help, to which they refused. Also, Israel has no duty to help - The 1995 Oslo Accords spell out in Article 17 (Health) of Annex 3 that the Palestinians have final responsibility for health care for the people under their control.

According to the Oslo accords the PA is responsible for the health of their population. They even cited this article when they refused Israeli assistance.

Pretty ridiculous to claim Israel is responsible for these people who demand independence and who have autonomy over their own territory.

If israel doesnt want a two state solution, they have to treat their Palestinians as their own.

those Palestinians are NOT a part of Israel, it's Israel right to decide whom to vaccinate with their limited amount of vaccines. also top priority of the Israeli government goes to Israeli citizens.

The Palestinians need to decide if they want their own country or to be part of Israel.

You can't have out both ways

Oslo 1, article 6, section 2: "authority will be transferred to the Palestinians on the following spheres: education and culture, HEALTH, social welfare, direct taxation, and tourism."
They are using their control over education to teach their children antisemitic ideas and to glorify terrorism, but when it comes to health let's blame israel

You are saying yourself that the PA is responsible for its people according to the oslo accords. Israel is vaccinating jewish and palestinian citizens of israel. But not citizens of palestine. Israel has as much responsibility for them as they have for egypt or syrias citizens.

Why should they be responsible for vaccinating another nations people?

I love how everyone is going ballistic over this when
1. Israel isn't obliged to do this as per the Oslo Accords, in fact, its the responsibility of the PA
2. Israel has already offered to vaccinate but the PA outright refused

Article 17 of the oslo accords states that the Palestinian authority is in charge of vaccinations over the Palestinian people. The Palestinian authority has also not asked Israel for the vaccine and entered into a agreement with Russia in order to receive their vaccines.
