Worcester declares traffic violence crisis

A series of crashes has prompted Worcester to speed up improvements in the city. WBZ-TV's Kristina Rex reports.

This is what happens when we given driving privileges to those who don’t follow the laws or rules of the roads and highways . In the last 4 yrs how many just got drivers license that shouldn’t have & those who shouldn’t be driving due to poor driving skills .
I’m on the roads a lot and the stuff I see daily is down right disgusting . People driving down the break down lane or just driving through red lights because they feel they don’t have to but everyone else does . People who drive should maybe slow down and stop texting on their phones .

Stop jaywalking or try running across busy traffic. Build more of those Flashing Cross Walks for awareness. I seen it many times young or old try to bolt out into traffic. One person this year got hit by someone 1 car behind me. Lowering the speed limit won't change a thing. At the same time I have to agree there are drivers that don't follow the rules correctly and don't know how to relax and just slow it down. Saving 10 seconds vs getting into an accident isn't worth it.
