I can disassemble pretty much anything. I’m not impressed by disassembly, putting it back together correctly probably would have been a better indication of how “good” this mechanic is.

I don't know why people are bitching about how good he's a mechanic you really didn't do anything that caused concern besides the fact that he didn't slide over the carrier before he tried popping it out I have rebuilt many of those types of differentials and it's very easy to break the pinion support bearing cast but it already had exploded so most likely it's probably damaged not a fan of these carriers

Don’t worry about all that sand, grit and dirt falling into the case and all the nooks and crannies. Working bent over on the ground is easier anyways. Forget the work bench and clean work environment. Overrated
