Carmen gets put back in a familiar spot but this time it's not a CYOA fake out ending. Carmen gets kidnapped by vile, strapped down and gagged and mind controlled into following their orders in the series finale of Carmen Sandiego. Lots of good struggling and a cleave gag!

0:46 Carmen is captured and her memory wiped so that she works with VILE. For Shadowsan, Zack, Ivy, Player, Gray, Chase and Jules along with The Chief. This is it. This is the true test of friendship

This was honestly the creepiest moment in the series.
Unlike that fakeout ending in season 1, this really happens as part of the story. Carmen gets her mind erased, and turned into an emotionless VILE operative. I was so relieved when they managed to trigger Carmen's memories back and finally destroyed VILE.

It’s pretty disappointing that it takes the last few episodes just for Vile to actually score a victory against Carmen Sandiego but even so the conclusion is not very satisfying.
