**Breaking News** Seahawks Starting Center Connor Williams Suddenly Retires 👀

In a season that has more twists than an M Night Shyamalan movie, the Seahawks have announced that starting center Connor Williams has announced his sudden retirement. This puts the Seahawks in a tough position heading into a make or break game against the San Francisco 49ers, as Olu Oluwatimi will taking over the starting role. This comes on the heels of the surprise release of starting linebacker Tyrel Dodson just earlier this week.

I have a feeling this was performance-related over anything else. I honestly think the Williams signing was overhyped. He was coming off injury, and honestly I think it made MORE sense to let Olu flounder around if he needed to before doing anything else.

Hey Brandon, Couple of thoughts after having a night and most of today to think about Williams. 1) Thanks for pointing out Williams PFF grade had him rated at #18 (middle-tier). 2) If Oluwatimi was unable to oust Williams in pre-season and regular season what kind of 'Hawks Coaches PFF Grade' did Grubb and Huff give Oluwatimi in practices prior to this week? Gulp! 3) Hoping Olu does well of course, but if his play going forward puts him BELOW #18 AND Lucas isn't his 'old self'...does that mean the Hawks could have 4 OL spots (Tomlinson) that need to be fixed in 2025? Anyways thanks again for the PFF score for Connor. Go Hawks! P.S Fingers, toes, and eyes, will be crossed on Sunday hoping that Olu and Lucas are both able to play at an 'ok/meh' level.
