The Hon. Preston Manning: National Unity, The Conservative Movement & Principled Politics

The Honourable Preston Manning is one of the few in our national history to accomplish the incredible feat of beginning a successful new federal political party, the Reform Party of Canada. It eventually became the modern day Conservative Party of Canada and went on to form government federally.

He’s been deemed the father of modern day Canadian conservatism and has a long list of accomplishments. They include serving as Member of Parliament for almost a decade, receiving several honourary degrees from various Canadian Universities, the establishment of the Manning Centre for Building Democracy (now the Strong and Free Network) and has written several books such as “Think Big”, My Adventures in Life and Democracy”, “Do Something, 365 Ways You Can Strengthen Canada”, “Faith, Leadership and Public Life” along with several others.

He is with us today to give his perspective on multiple critical issues for the future of our nation.

In this interview, we discuss national unity (western alienation and aspirations), his political history and principled politics in Canada.

Glad I stumbled on this podcast with Mr Manning. Second time I watched a podcasts with Mr Manning...the first was with J Peterson. I support and agree with everything you say.
