Escaping the Flames of Maui by Boat.

Captain Chrissy Lovitt, a local and seasoned mariner out of Lahaina Harbor and her story of how she save two 5 and 6 year old children has spread all across the news however in this podcast we wanted to go deeper and really understand what happened at the harbor and the rest of the town that day so we can really get an idea of what Lahaina is going through and how they are picking up the pieces today. Captain Chrissy herself is a big part of helping in the healing as she is not only housing several victims of the fire who lost their own homes, but she’s actively working to get another boat so she can begin running much needed supplies to her people.
