Hey Jungle Jeff, thanks for watching the clip. I put that video on as I was learning fast the stubbies are really sensitive to set up and no one really mentions this.
Because of the very short nose and all the volume being in the tail, tacks etc aren’t easy. You need to aim for a carving fast tack and really whip yourself round the front.
Great video on YouTube from TWS featuring Colin Whippy Dixon on how to fast tack.
Other than that just play with the set up.

Just sailed my stubby for the first time. Set it up like you did on the advice of the previous owner. I enjoyed it but found it hard to do tacks and gybes well. Any tips? I can do then fine on regular boards
