Dollar Tree Pencil Holder Hack: I needed a pencil holder for my desk that could separate and hold small groups of pens, markers, and pencils. The Dollar Tree has a slim 4 unit pen holder, but it wasn't sturdy enough or have enough compartments for my needs. So, I improvised and "hacked" 4 pieces, using felt and glues. I'm pleased with the result.

You can also just stick them together using the velcro command strips. The thickness of the strips counteracts the space cause by the lip. I have two sitting on my desk right now that are put together that way.

I'm a crafter, and this is the coolest transformation I've seen for a pen/pencil holder. Inexpensive, a bit of crafty imagination, and WELLA, it works! TFS!

I would have skipped to fabric and just used a ton of E-6000 because that stuff is awesome and so thick it would have just filled those gaps anyways!
Also, I’ve never needed to wait over night for that glue to dry! It starts to harden up when I leave just a dab out while working with it and that tells me that it dries faster than you’d think! Besides the point, but I’ve found too that it bonds to glass almost instantly and is the best glue for that!

Before DT sold these, I purchased some from Temu, and did this same thing!! Great minds🎉
