The most generous folks I’ve met are the poor. But tbh I’ve met a few stingy poor people who have attitudes of entitlement. Not a good combo.

I don't care about money. I care about the basic needs and the goals, themselves. I made this decision a few years ago and I haven't struggled financially since. Of course, there were many other changes I made such as cutting out useless habits (of which I still have a couple), working to help friends and family, awareness of death (the temporal nature of this life). They all seem to work synergistically. Anyhow, I just keep moving towards my goals, don't feel sorry for myself and try to help others. The magical part was the change within me that led to all of it.

As with everything else, Frater’s take is a 1/2 truth. There are both rich and poor that contribute to society, and both rich and poor that take from society. There are a lot of poor people that have *chosen* a more enlightened path of being of highest service to their fellow humans over making as much material wealth as they can. And many rich people have not created any spiritual value for themselves or anyone else. Actually, quite the opposite. It’s on a case by case basis, as usual.

You've given the rich a lot of grace here Frater, like you always do in all your other videos about this topic of money. But you never do the same for the poor.

I don't think poverty is always a selfish mindset. I mean sometimes it has to be because you can't share what you don't have. And sometimes you just get screwed over by cons by not understanding the con.

Idk ive seen these prank videos online where they pretend to be homeless and they usually get money from poor people or homeless but when they are in a wealthy area like the financial section of manhattan they get cussed at and no one gives them money. However I understand the lesson given.

It seems many people took this rather personally, which is interesting in itself. It's also the case that this reaction has caused them to miss the entire point of the video.

Well our Federal Government is becoming more poor then. As they just hike up taxes and provide almost nothing...

Rich people tip better too. I work part time doing delivery for uber. I go to the rich areas because they really tip good. Many of them are very nice people too.

Reading these comments I can see myself back in the day. I was idealistic, dumb and poor.

As someone who is so poor that I haven't had very much to eat yet this month (and if I eat today I probably won't eat tomorrow), I 100% agree with Frater. As I sit here and think, he is absolutely right, even about me. Y'all should listen up; I know it's not nice to hear that you're the problem, but sometimes you're the problem. All these people here pissing and moaning because Frater said something mean about the poor poors, that right there is the reason you're going to stay poor, because you'd rather complain about how someone said you're poor and that it's your fault, than go and actually do something to fix it. You guys are like the woman with the nail in her head; just wants to complain about the nail, doesn't want to solve the problem of the nail being in her fucking head. I, for one, refuse to sink into oblivion. Thank you, Frater, for this perspective and information; with it, I'm certain I'll succeed.

Interesting perspective. Money is often a polarized topic because you either feel as though you have it or you don’t. Money also runs on a circuit, by creating value in the world, you will likely reap the benefits of money. At the same time, be generous and give to charitable causes because that speaks to the energy of you having abundance enough to share it.

Here's my hang up: liability. A group of friends and I started several business, immediately threats and law suits followed... Like random people claiming you owe them 10k because one of us supposedly used one photo of theirs, or that our logo is too similar to theirs, etc. I don't know how to best cover my rear in an environment like this: affordable lawyers, insurances, business structure, etc.

I 100% agree! That's why I stopped helping the poor people who could never reciprocate. One sided giving is a drain, but that's what poor people want. They want you to feel sorry for them and given them everything you have and leave yourself without anything.

Can’t wait for the mailbag on this one! I saw this on Patreon when it first came out, and still agree 100% with this video!

well, in my experience, you won't get much out of virgo, no matter how hard you try - but you do want to be around leos, even saggies :-) it really doesn't matter whether they are rich or not - it's just how they are 🙂
(if any virgo out there is offended, my asc. is in virgo)

I suppose it's situational, as a server, I am tipped more from hardworking people than I am with higher classes individuals. Im materialistically poor, by society's standards.. but every night I take soups from my restaurant and bread and pastries from another restaurant and feed the homeless. At one place there's six woman two in a wheel chair sleeping on church pews. They have no one, no money, nothing...I ofcourse have been there, and that is why I help others... I don't do it for some sort of godly reward. I do it to help others and to help me. A payment that is priceless.

Amazon is a group of investors. Not just one man. Neither is Tesla or Facebook.

Was looking at the comments, this person actually understood what was being said in this video.
"copied from below"
He didn't say it was. I think he was speaking more to the people that have little, play the victim, but do not offer a service or any kind other than being an employee. So, they get what they deserve by their mindset and behavior.

Great take frater. Its like when people want purebred papered puppies for $500 when vet bills and paperwork are $5000+
