The Woke Kindergarten sessions train teachers on concepts and curriculum that’s available to use in classrooms with any of Glassbrook Elementary’s 474 students. The sessions are funded through a federal program meant to help the country’s lowest-performing schools boost student achievement. "

This is the shit that pushed me to leave the left in 2021 after being a liberal my whole life, this is the result of the idiocy pushed by SJW'S. Funnily enough, TYT and other far left outlets helped me wake up to how extreme the left had become and how ridiculously stupid their ideas were.

TYT helped turn me into a social conservative, so I should be thanking Ana. I truly hope she takes leaves the left as well, it's been fascinating to watch her go through the same awakening process I went through a couple of years ago.

Schools are supposed to be in the education business, NOT the indoctrination business. Teach kids the basic skills and concepts first, make sure that they have a basic general literacy and are fundamentally proficient with STEM, and then allow them to objectively learn about philosophy, politics, and other humanities and make up their own minds in these subjects. Whether one has a right-wing, left-wing, or center perspective, to do anything else is preposterous.

I work for a school and one of my jobs is vetting new curriculum and making sure it's appropriate for grade level. This is not. I'd like to see proof that this was ever implemented in any school for those grade levels.

OK.. as a progressive, I find this VERY disturbing. School should be about reading, writing, math, geography, etc. You need to give kids a foundation of actual education (not political bs) to help prepare them to enter society. In senior high school (10-12) you should enter heavy critical thinking skills, give a solid understanding of HOW our government actually works, etc. Things they will soon need to know to stand on their own. We don't need to teach politicized garbage in our schools.
