Hi arpan iam new to suppose we have install prometheus in one server we want to scrape the metrics from application of other server.... how it is possible node exporter installed in appserver is enough or we have to do some some more configuration?

Hi in your json file you have hardcoded the ip address of the machine. So if we want to monitor multiple instances(linux machines), how to get those names dynamically in the drop down menu

exporters must always be on client machines? I'm a beginner, sometimes I install exporters on client machines (machines to supervise), but when I'm back in the configuration of prometheus.yml to fill the values, nothing is displayed on the web interface of the server and coup grafana also refuses to show the graphs even after doing the restart of the server prometheus!
