Thanks for the explanation....however, there are many errors, most of them simple mistakes...for instance the carbon filter does not trap the carbon molecules, rather, it traps the caffeine molecules. and 'proponents' should be

So I always thought that after you decaf a bean you would use that caffeine to make other products like analgesics, coke, energy drinks... But if it's incinerated then it means it's completely lost?
