I dont know if there's anyone else out there but I make sure I listen to this song every September 11th every year. To make sure I never forget this.

What a great and thoughtful song. Alan Jackson is my favorite American singer. He just picked up all the possible feelings we had experienced at that devastating event. Only in God we can get strength to move forward. He is greater than any tragedy.

I lost my aunt on that day and my close German cousin. Every year I volunteer to play this song in front of my class even if I cry. Others may not think much about it but it's not everyday you loose someone.

Remembering 20 years later. I swear the emotions are just as strong today. Thank you Mr. Jackson for a beautiful song that rings just as true today as it did when you wrote it. I know the tears I shed listening to it, I cannot imagine the tears you’ve shed having to sing it…We WILL NEVER forget.

This Sunday will be 21 year's since that tragic year on September 11th 2001. I remember having 2 classes in the morning at school and I don't know who was on the intercom at school, this person said that both towers had been hit by airplanes, and we stopped what we were doing and we prayed for all of those people and their loved ones in those towers, I still listen to this song everyday, and this Sunday I am singing this song at church, so September 11th 2001 which was on Tuesday will always be a day that I will never forget.

Never forget.

Never forget the children men and women who past away,
on that September day,
Never forget the hero's,
nor the zeros who may have hurt us,
they turned their hatred into So much dust,
and betrayed our trust,
but we must we just must,
never forget that day,
when we all knelt down to pray,
on that September day.

Rip to all the lives lost on Sept 11th. You will never be forgotten. <3

16 years later, 9/11 still shakes me to my core as to how fast lives can be taken from friends and family, Whether people say it was a inside job or not, It still showed us how America can't be saved from everything and how us as a country can stay strong

I just listened to this song and cried like a baby. I remember my grandmother worked in Washington DC and I was so afraid she wasn't gonna come home and being so thankful when she walked through the door. Always keep your loved ones close and don't take anything for granted.

My dad almost worked in one of the Towers. He didn't go for the job because of a church sermon saying that you shouldn't idolize money or work. He realized that he would spend too much time away from his family.
