For people who don't know, The GS2 has 21mbps technology running on T-Mobile "4G HSPA+", while the 4s is on 14mbps ATT(overcrowded) "4G HSPA+".

the GS2 is actually on HSPA+ 42.2 Mbps. that and the htc amaze were the first to run these high speeds

@spartanH42 You are right in the regard Apple straight up jacked the notification bar, but they did it in response to what was happening to them since the beginning. Android can't complain because they're philosophy is we should be allowed to make money off each others ideas "open source."Now their new OS Ice Cream Sandwich I like it, it's great, it's nothing like iOS and I support them for doing that. But yes Samsung did sued for tablets, phones, and mp3 players. They have an iPod touch copy too.

@25zomar Skyrocket is LTE. ALL LET phones die fast. ATT and Verizon keep talking about their LTE network but the phones don't last but a few hours when using data on them. Can you force the phone to WCDMA mode only? On the dial pad dial *#*#4636#*#*, then select Phone Information. Scroll down, use the drop down menu and select WCDMA only. You will loose some data speed but will save battery life.

@edwardo44 Both OSs are good in their own way. Hands-down, Apple has the best apps. When a new app is released, they're the first one to get it. I prefer Android's OS better because of the way you can customize it. I own an iPod touch just because there are some apps that I would never find on Android, but I don't appreciate the small screen size. Android is targeted for a different market; for example, a soccer mom would typically buy an iPhone for its easy-to-use interface.

@spartanH42 And no they don't use plastic because it weighs less :p They do it because it's cheaper, it's the only way they can get close iPhone performance without having ridiculously higher prices. Technically you over pay for Androids because you spend more than double the price it took to make. The profit margin on iPhone is a lot smaller percentage wise. And if iPhone cracks? no problem, free repair/replacement from the Apple store :p Android doesn't have that :p

@edwardo44 The only thing similar about iOS and Android are the apps, and I'll admit that Apple wins when it comes to apps. Other than that they're two completely different operating systems. Comparing Android to iOS is like comparing Windows with Mac.

I have the samsung galaxy s 2 and In Houston TX I get 8 mbps down. I wish it was as good as this.

ALL IPHONE 4s fanboys - I had that phone till the end of january, 2012 and I travelled to Texas, new York and California and I will tell you that the fastest I saw in speedtest was 8mbps in 3am in Dallas, Texas. Then I have a cousin in Houston who lives in downtown can pull 30-35mbps in his tmobile galaxy s2 in between 3am-4am. So, iPhone 4s has only modem of 14.4 (theoretical) that's why you can't see more than 10mbps even I will strap you to the main tower.

@edwardo44 But someone interested in computers would probably go with the Android because of its customization. I own a MacBook Pro and I love it - I have nothing against Apple. But the iPhone isn't a very appealing product at this point in time because there are better phones in the market in my opinion. Who knows, maybe the iPhone 5 will blow everybody away. But until then, I think there are better options phone-wise.

@edwardo44 Celebrities, kings, politicians, and millionaires choose the iPhone because of it's easy to use interface. Apple designed the phone specifically so that anybody can use it; they weren't targeting only rich people. And I honestly don't understand what the point was of bringing up "celebrities, kings, politicians, and millionaires." You're basically saying that if they do something, you'll follow them. If the iPhone is chosen for "luxury, " then why does half my school use it?

Plus the iPhone 4s is dual core but is still 3g.

@spartanH42 Who said luxury has to be impossible to buy? iPhone in a way is a great product functionality aside it doesn't discriminate against social class, it's classy enough that millionaires want it, but affordable so an average joe can get it. All Android worried about was making a similar functionality of iPhone but cheaper, they didn't care about aesthetics they just copied it, they didn't care about materials. Their gimmick was.. we can do what iPhone does but cheaper, plus 4G.

Plus I have a app that does the same thing that siri does. Plus flash which equals freedom on browsing without the safari cannot open page notification.

@edwardo44 So you're saying the Galaxy S2 is ugly, over-sized, and bulky? It's a millimeter thicker than the iPhone 4S. The Droid Razr and Galaxy Nexus are thinner than the iPhone. I'm not saying Apple copied Samsung with the iPhone 4S look-wise, I'm talking about internally. Samsung isn't getting sued for their smartphones, they're getting sued for their tablets. Apple also definitely copied Android with the notification bar, so don't tell me that Android copied iOS.

@spartanH42 No, Apple and Windows are completely different looking and function completely differently. Android looks the same, but functions slightly differently. They have a useless home screen that serves no real purpose, but to make people think it's suppose to be "different." Look up what Android was before the first iPhone came out :p Tell me if it's not a rip off :p Androids were nothing like they are today they were Black Berry knock offs :p At that time BB was respectable.
