The 2022-23 Escalade is offering many luxury features on the higher models you probably didn’t know about. The Escalade has smart adaptive air ride control, 6 piston Brembo brakes, magnetic ride control with electric dual coil dampers which work better than all its competitors. The nose does not dive when braking like the GLS AMG 63, BMW X7 and Range Rover. On the one hand, I appreciate the subtlety of the upgrades. No obnoxious wings or fins. On the other, I get what you're saying. That guy who owns the Platinum will say it look exactly like his Escalade for 40 grand less, and make it seem as though you were ripped off. The enthusiast will appreciate where all that money went, but nobody else will notice any difference.

It really does need to have something about it that's unique ONLY to the Escalade V. Special seats/color combination, Fro example. And/or a unique steering wheel (even if its just a different color/fabric) which are always two simple changes that will make it stand out for other ordinary Platinum models. The shifter, is another simple change.

Any car by any car maker with a letter badge needs to keep this in mind (even subtlety). People need to SEE the difference.
