So why should you be excited for french battleships, my friends?
SECONDARY BATTERIES! The gentlemen way of battleship brawling

At le Tier 3, we have a modest 20 75mm guns. Not really much to look at
Dans Tier 4, things start go get fun. Courbet carries 22 139mm guns at a range of 4.5km with a ROF of 6RPM
At tier 5, Bretange gets 22 guns again, with an additional 4x2 100mm guns
At tier 6, things start to become Hon hon hon, with normandies 18 139mm guns (of wich 6 face forward and 6x2 90mm guns. All at 5km range
Then things change at tier 7 Lyon's. Because now we have 4 x 4 and 4x2 130mm guns in DP turrets. At 5 km, this means 12 guns per side! Wich can all fire at the same target much easier. Also now with Manual fire control with 60% less dispersion
Tier 8, we have Richelieu and Gascogne. Now the secondaries get big! Richelieu carries 3x3 152mm DP guns at 5 RPM and 6x2 100mm DP guns at 15 RPM. All at 5 km range. Gascogne has the same exept for 8x2 100mm all 3 152mm guns are on one line. That means 9 152mm guns and 8 100mm guns per side!
Tier 9, we go to the sexy alsace. Once again 3x3 152mm guns, one line and >12<x 2 100mm DP turrets! Giving us 21 guns per side! Also this time at 7km base range! (10.6km fully upgraded)
At tier 10, with France, things get really intresting= 3x3 152mm DP guns....Autoloaded at 7.5 RPM. And 8x2 127mm guns at 7km range with a ROF of 15 RPM.

Zhey do not outrange les allemandes...non. But zhey fire hard. Bismarcks and above 15cm has a ROF of 8 RPM and longer range...But the french BB's carry more 152mm guns per side and they deal 2200 damage, instead of 1700
