Black Lagoon is just so unapologetically cool. Not EVERY seinen series has to be philosphical or about existentialism or cosmic horror. Sometimes they just be smoking, shooting and driving boats off convenient ramps to shoot helicopter pilots in the face with a torpedo. Chef's kiss of a series.

I always loved how the animators portrayed the firearms. They did them realistically but still went all action-like with 'em when it looked cool. Don't usually see many anime do so well with their portrayal of firearms.
