wow, haven't played with slope-intercept in 55+ years, thanks for the refresher. delta & all came back to me. good one.

I popped the coordinates into a google sheet, then made a scatter plot with a "trendline." In google sheets, there's an option to "use equation" to label the trendline in the format Y = mx + b. If you don't remove the outlier, you get y = 1.52x + -4.8, but if you do remove the outlier, as in the video, you get, y = 2x + 7.

I feel that this method is too rough and simple, and probably a calculator would have given a slightly different line, one with a slope slightly less than two and with a y intercept slightly closer to the origin. The point you ignored wasn't an outlier, not in such small a set.
I was hoping you'd show how to do linear regressions when no two points are sure to give the best line. In other words, some kind of minimum squared distance calculation which doesn't ignore data.Oh well, maybe in another video?
