I always made a camp nearby the tunnel and waited for a train. Takes about the same amount of time but this method works a bit better as sometimes the train that comes is those useless cargo ones 😫

Little tip. If you want more loot then after robbing the passengers you kill them and loot

0:58 you can set up camp right beside the tracks at this location. A Passenger train will arrive at 12:15 and 18:15 in-game time, so you can sleep until noon or evening and a train will arrive immediately. When you rob the 12:15 train, ride back to your camp before 18:00 to get the second train to spawn.

Thanks for the video, I enjoyed that. Ended in a strange way for me. Took a drink of fine brandy to create some space and fell through the floor and ended up near Valentine. Horse was still in the tunnel. Walked to the stables to retrieve it.

You don't need to use dynamite to open the safes just shoot it with an explosive bullet.
Easier, quicker, no running away and back, no accidental deaths. Simple.

When I use the tunnel method I go out the front of the tunnel to let the train De-Spawn and there’s usually one that comes pretty quickly. I only do this for the bandit challenge when you have to rob multiple trains.

I usually rob random trains when im riding between towns/train stations and dont get a bounty. You dont necessarily have to go to that tunnel. Being far enough from a town, kill the driver and all guards and loot the passengers very fast should do the job although is not very easy. This method is good if you want the safes but imo is less fun

If you rob every passenger and loot every chest, it can really add up to a nice sum!

go through the train, rob everybody, then return, kill all of them, and loot them, see how much they didn't give you

but my train does not move after i step off in the annesberg

i was able to do this one time
when the train moved but after that the train just sits on the sits on the station.

What happens if you set the train in motion with out a driver and bail off will everything blow up because the game wants the train to stop or if you stay on the train does it go forever

They made it entirely too easy to make money. The game kinda discourages you to loot corpses during missions, but its easy to do and its like every other person has a watch, ring or some kind of jewerly that sells at a fence for $5-$10$

I don’t get it. I followed this to a tee. Somehow I still got a bounty. Ended up with a higher bounty than I made robbing the train. Is it because I killed the driver instead of telling him to stop then throwing him out the window?

When I tried this ages ago I still got a bounty and lawmen came into the tunnel!

I did it with no lantern or miners hat the first time....I never made that mistake again.
