Florida unemployment system still giving residents issues with applying and receiving benefits

Floridians who are out of work still seem to be having problems with the state's unemployment filing system.

My story is unique. I applied March 29, 2020, DEO decided to use a claim from 2018 and therefore denied me. I again filed another application and got denied. To today's date they owe me over $14, 000.00 in total. I have not paid my mortgage in 6 months or my bills. I have spoke with the FLA STATE REP, and they have even called them and emailed them, yet still NOTHING gets fixed on my claim. I will be seeking a lawyer for monies owed AND doing a civil lawsuit. We all in Florida need to do a class action lawsuit together!

Every single time they fix one issue they mess something else up but will never admit it.

Yes!! Working with unemployment IS a full time job. I have spent hrs waiting on the phone or waiting to get on the site. 5 hrs waiting to get on the site one day, and 4 hrs one day on hold on the phone while they got a supervisor to fix something. This is just 9 hrs they consumed of my time. There have been many other phone waits, and waites to get into the system to be kicked off. It’s a full time job. 🤯DeSantis doesn’t understand this, I don’t understand how I can vote for him.

I called on Monday to get my retro payments. The representative changed my date and now my account is in pending again and they have my money on hold. The representative did not tell me that I wount receive my payments. So from eligible, now I am back to pending and without getting payments

Okay guys I'm in Florida to I lost my job for the coronavirus apply 14 weeks ago I'll send three paper application and the last one I sent its 1 months ago and why I go in Internet see my situation is still say no retreat no registration why I don't know I try to call to its M way you need to call back and call back may you never have nobody in the phone novosti to be disaster. Florida politics as t it's best . Don't think I got one full Care's act payment. I've only received 4 since may .
