I Bought 40 UNTESTED iPods... and found THIS 💀

I bought a lot of 40+ untested iPods from Goodwill... and this is what they sent! I got anything from ipod touches, to ipod nanos, ipod shuffles, and ipod classics. And after this video - I have plenty more to come! This will be a series of 4-5 videos.

You might wanna plug in the last iPod to a computer! To my knowledge, it only wipes the music and photos and whatnot if you wipe the device from the iPod itself instead of doing a full drive wipe. There are probably a lot of files on it!

connect these ipods to a pc or a mac to see what is on them. ipod acts like a usb drive when connected to a pc so "others" may be just some random stuff that somebody put on there.

looking through the music on old ipods that were used by previous owners is one of the best things to do when you order ipod lots on ebay

I suspect the large amount of other space at 15:21 could be a corrupted file, a cache, or other data stored on the iPod. Older iPods could be used for storage.

iPod Classics were the best models in my opinion, just because they had much more storage for music compared to the Nano or other models

Back in the day it was common to use the iPod as a portable HDD, I’m guessing this one may have only been used as a portable HDD

You can mount the ipod classics if you connect them to a PC and use them as external hard drives — i did that with a bigger one i had way back when. A factory reset won’t format it so its likely those files
