Assuming your door is solid. Door mats in and outside. Extend panels on the back over the space around the door. Foam or caulking in the handle and lock and along the hinge side or the door. You can do the around the outside of the door when closed with weather stripping.

To find the problematic area play some grey noise on one side of the door and go on the other side with the door closed and move your ear around the edge perimeter of the door, where the sound is at its highest intensity is where the problem area is, if it’s all over the place then it’s likely the fault of the door itself meaning not enough mass

One person suggested playing gray noise but also use a flashlight its easier to tell, have someone stand on the other side and flash the light around the edges

You have a nice little alcove there so you could try getting a spring curtain rod and heavy blackout/sound deadening curtains and a thick rug by the door. These can help soften and absorb the noise without investing or altering a rental. You can take them with you when you leave.

If the walls are hollow having solid doors doesn't help much. You could open walls install proper insulation and if you have space even Dubble up one of sides with an extra sheet of drywall, on both sides even if it allows. I believe there is also drywall that's supposed to dampen sound. Double drywall and proper insulation should be a world of difference. Next step would be to use wider studs like 2x6 or 2x8 so you have a lot more space for R value insulation.

I’ve bought one of those foams like pool noodles that slide into the door on both sides and they work wonderfully, they literally soundproofed my whole room

Also really go around with your ear and check where the noise is coming from in your house and inspect the source of the generated noise, then try to deduce how it is traveling to you inside. It could be as simple as not enough or no insulation or a built-in firehose box on your wall would offer little insulation. Looks like you have a solid door but if not you need one, the heavier the better and you'll have to make sure it fits the frame as perfectly as possible, any gappes can let sound through.

Secret bookshelf door half way up thats what um doing use sound dampening sticky pads like they use in vanlife. I've had enough too. N sew a door puffy that blocks the sound from bottom.of door or use a moving blanket over door

Foam insulation inside the door if it’s hollow

You used the wrong foam, for the door get raven but the rubber one. Rp45 I think, bunnings. You put the raven door bottom on the wrong side, but none the less you need to lower the rubber to the floor, of you notice the rubber is adjustable

Ok, just need to point something out… that’s a fire door (compliance tag visible on frame) which you have fitted non-compliant / untested seals & coverings…

This could affect the effectiveness / integrity of the door in the event of a fire…
