Everything you need to know to visit Banff National Park, Canada's first national park. Banff really has some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world. Towering, snow-capped mountains, turquoise lakes, lush forests, and emerald valleys. Banff is a photographer's paradise and every picture you take feels like it could be on a postcard. Banff is home to an active glacier field called the Columbia Icefield, which is located along its northern border with numerous glaciers. And yes, you can actually walk onto a glacier here. And drink the glacier water! Banff is a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts. Hiking, biking, camping, canoeing, kayaking, and rock climbing are just a few of the activities that visitors can enjoy in summer, and of course plenty of winter activities like skiing, snowboarding in the winter.

My wife and I visited Banff and Jasper National Parks in 2022 and it was by far one of best trips we have taken and we have traveled to many countries and places. We look forward to taking out daughter there once she is a little older.

Thanks for such a great, thorough video! As a Calgarian, I think I take for granted just how much there is to do in Banff National Park. You've inspired me to go check out more of this amazing natural wonder 😊

Hi from Australia! Thanks for the detailed video, We would love to see a video of Whistler and Banff during Christmas! Keen to know if travel between the two is possible OR which one is the best for the festive season and wildlife tours etc ❄️ 🐻 ( with no transport so reliant on shuttle tours )

TOUGH CALL Chris- been to Yellowstone once LOVED IT! Want to go to Banff but also back to Yellowstone. Is Banff worth going the 1st time or is it better going back to Yellowstone a better choice if you can only afford one of them?

My Banff pro tip: hike Sulpher in off-season, ride down for free. (Pay for one way in summer) Then go have a spa day/massage at Banff Springs Hotel 🎉
