I first saw this movie one night 18 years years ago. I was dealing with the murder of my younger brother only months before seeing this movie. I am not ashamed to say when I watched this particular scene, the tears flowed freely from my eyes. Thank you Robin Williams for making us laugh and cry. Rest in peace sir.

This scene always makes me break down and cry 😭 Robin Williams was a versatile actor just like Tom Hanks. Both of these guys started in corny comedies, but to everyone's surprise they became Mega Super Stars.

Believe it or not but this is true. I Lost my Brother and aunt to cancer. Each day i have to tell my dad with alzheimer that his son (my brother) is not coming. I also have to tell him that my sister is not coming (fourth cerebral hemorrhage). She doesn't even know how to operate a TV-remote. My mother is partially paralyzed. She is in a wheelchair. I loved to watch the movies (and especially) Patch Adams because they took me away for a moment of all those problems. There are to things that were keeping me going. Robin Williams movies and the quote from Bruce Lee: "Do not pray for an easy life, pray for the strenght to endure a difficult one".
