Today we take an in-depth look at Quinn's 185 WHP ITB Miata.

1999 NB8CE ITB Mazda Miata

This is the car that I have the most significant history with. I ran my first Auto-X in and track days in this car. It was my first real serious build and I have more development work into the engine of this car than any other. Nothing has been left untouched. I bought this car in February of 2006. This car is where my roots are and for that it will always have a spot in my garage.

Proper driving.
So many young guys think that if it hasn't got 400+ HP then it's shit, which is so not true!!
Some of my best drives have been in sub 250HP cars.
Revs, steering and concentration, beautiful!

That engine and exhaust note is what gives a car guy goose bumps. Almost as good as a 4AGE or B Series.

Some people’s dream car is a lambourghini or a high hp LS swapped whatever... this... THIS is my dream build. I certain this is the only car capable of giving me a stiffy and making me cry from pure joy at the same time. I would actually do terrible, terrible things for this car. This truly is what driving nervana sounds and looks like. One day i pray to have the chance to own or even drive something this visceral

I watched this video on my way to work in my s2000 this morning, at the red lights I rev'd my engine to see what my car sounded like compared to this felt shame. Clean miata!

What a machine. Immaculately built. And the sound that thing makes 😍 great to see an owner who really knows his shit and knows how to drive the absolute snot out of his car. Loved all of cars from the different mx5 battles but the noise from this thing is something special. Props to you for this build man it's fantastic!

This is the first I’ve heard of you guys, and I’m majorly impressed! Aside from the absolute perfection that is this piece of art Miata, I loved the way you handled filming and editing!
Having the owner talk about his own car and blast it properly through some good roads was a refreshing take on the review format. I feel like nobody but the guy who built this crazy thing could have done it justice like that!

When you can see an owner drive its car... it is special, you can feel how he knows how to push it for the limit, even an experienced driver can´t drive as fast as the owner does in the streets where he drives it everyday. That's the magic of this video, Human-Machine relationship at its finest.

This is what I love about motorcycles. Raw, pure, it’s just you and the machine. The way this dude describes how much he loves driving his Miata reminds me of everything I’ve loved about being on a bike.
