When I was little, I said I wanted to drive the buses but people said they don't make any money, but now since I work for the City and they had me driving the highway dump trucks that sparked my interest. I have a lot to study for, pray for me that I get mine. Proud of you man

My dad was a trucker from the paper log days. Id ride with him from Atlanta ga to grand junction Colorado. It's a tradition now. The money is good but ya gotta love driving or it's gonna be a short trip for most. We had 15 people come in to orientation. Last I heard 2 months in it's just me and 1 other guy. I've worked in mental health for 25 years and I have no opportunities for advancement or increased pay. Not even overtime. I've decided to pursue my CDL after my ex-wife did so and is enjoying it. The starting pay with the megas is pretty close to what I'm making already. I know that the industry is in a recession but I'd rather start now and get experience so that when the industry turns, I'm not just starting at that point. Thanks for your videos. Very inspirational.

I’m only 2mins into the video and I am going through this same thing now. My girlfriend and I are living check to check, behind on bills and have a baby on the way. I never considered trucking before i seen how lucrative this route really was. I now just turned 22 and I don’t know how to start but I’ve loved driving uhauls on the freeway since I was 16 i am praying I get in this same situation thank you for your backstory in the beginning. Damn this video just motivated me so hard! I am about to start trucking and getting my cdl very soon, The main thing you said that motivated me so much is the investments, there are so many opportunities that I have watched happened but I couldn't do anything because I didn't have any saved up money to invest, and I would get so mad at the missed opportunity.
