Also, as an adult now this song hits different… having an ex is one thing, or hate and anger is another… but apathy and being “somebody that you used to know” is just… sad. Apathy hits harder than hate. Nothing hurts worse than knowing that someone doesn’t even care enough to hate you. Damn.

This is the first song I watched of there's and loved. But more importantly when I showed someone, I always picked out beard guy's most crucial role in this song that he had. He definitely made it.

It happens extremely rarely to me that I keep going back to a page and watch the video over and over and over. But this video does that for me. Everything is perfect: the ensemble, the way they play, the way they sing, the coordination, the fact that they are onto each other but never hit arms or fingers, that they are all wearing black, that they are very respectful of the song, that they are all good looking but they are not estheticizing the performance, that there are no frills or BS to distract from their act. It's SUPERB!

Most heart felt condolences from my family to the Taylor family, the band, all their families and friends.
our family saw WOTE at the YMCA Burlington in Dec 2012...where my son and daughter (aged 10 and 8 at the time) were in the front row on the right hand side looking out from the stage in an old archive photograph on their website. After the show all they talked about ( and again last weekend when the sad news broke on local and national Canadian news) was that they had touched the " Beard Guy" ....so very sad...but my kids will remember that night in Burlington long after I'm gone and the rest of their lives for sure.

How on earth can you have so many "lead vocalist" quality vocalists in one band. Amazing. First guy reminds me of my favorite The Eels tracks. The third singer brings back memories of listening to Paramore. Second guy has a so soulful, almost Sting / Police quality. I hope those are complimentary, I love all your voices and this cover so much.
