This thing is the peak of aerospace engineering. My company in Australia worked on developing the manufacturing processes for the vertical tail (as part of the joint strike fighter program) and I've never seen anything like it, the amount of bleeding edge tech that makes building F-35s possible is insane.

These are some of the loudest jets the us has, next to the f18s, I was helping setup the blue-angles end of year show in Pensacola and I was right on the runway, the 35s were doing low passes. Then the Blue Angles took off for practice, they flew by about 50 feet off the ground with full burners. It was angelic.

I am a GA pilot, but I can't even imagine flying an aircraft like that -- saying WOW just doesn't cut it! You don't get in that baby, you strap it on and it takes you clear up through the stratosphere! What a stupendous machine, and it looks like she handles like a dream. (I'm still afraid to fly up-side-down, but then, I'm not as young as those split-second-reaction pilots anymore either.) THANK YOU for this spectacular video of what that bird can do!
