Women BSF personnel were deployed at the Indo-Pak border in Punjab’s Amritsar on August 8. This comes ahead of the Independence Day celebration on August 15. The women soldiers have been deployed to bid foil the suspicious activities of the terrorists from Pakistan. Border areas see regular terrorist activities from the neighbouring country. Notably, security in other parts of the country has also been tightened.
