The Dear Hunter -- The Revival/Melpomene/Mr. Usher (On His Way to Town) [Covers]

So, back when I was Brace Face McGee, I recorded myself playing these three songs one after another and somehow (iz a miracle) I made it through until the end without irredeemably screwing up--that's not to say the performance isn't riddled with mistakes...

But, I want to share regardless because I put a lot of heart into the performance and I actually purchased some tickets this morning to go see The Dear Hunter in April and so I thought it was an opportune time to post this video. I've shared it once before, but nobody really cared to listen to it and I honestly think it's alright.

I know it's long. I should've broken it up, but I wanted to challenge myself and play the songs straight thru because that's how they are on the album.

And let me know if you listen because I could use the inspiration to pick up the guitar again and sing--it's been a bit.

Melpomene is a very special song to me, and I really love the way you rendered it. I myself am just getting started on the guitar, so bar chords are a pain, but this song is definitely among the first I'm learning. I prefer your arrangement to all other ones I found online and I'm learning this song based on your vision of it. Cheers mate, incredible job!
