Testride and my first impressions of the Yamaha XT660R.

Motostore Barendrecht was kind enough to lend me the XT660R for a longer time, to get some nice shots and a proper feeling of the bike.

I have a power commander on my xt660R and it pulls realy good in low rpm!! Also drives smooth in city with low rpm.

It’s an emission restriction I think. So always let your bike get flashed or retuned.

Hoi Welke olie heb jij altijd in je XT? Heb zelf 10w 40 erin gemikt :( maar kwam erachter dat er officieel 15w 50 in hoort te zitten?

Ben van plan om deze aan te schaffen na mij rijbewijs A2 te behalen zou dit oke zijn als aller eerste motor?

Ik merk dat wanneer ik boven de 120km/h ga dat de stuur een beetje wiebelt, ik heb 3x een tank slapper gehad. Harder dan 130 durf ik niet😅

I am not a fan of single cylinder bikes. Not sure but even two cylinders seems a bit laggy at times. 😉

Super irritating if it’s so noisy… better to have it silent so you can go hard:)

How did you like the acceleration, my NX 650 was a little slow. Not as nice as the Transalp.
